Olive Oil (2 tablespoons, extra virgin; substitute with avocado oil)
Lemon (1 medium, juiced and zested)
Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
Parsley (1 tablespoon, chopped)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C)
Pat salmon steaks dry; season with salt and pepper
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, and chopped parsley
Brush the mixture evenly over the salmon steaks
Arrange on a baking sheet (skin-side down if skin-on)
Bake for 12-15 minutes until flaky in the center
Garnish with lemon zest before serving
