- 1 medium head green cabbage
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Remove outer cabbage leaves and rinse thoroughly.
- Pat cabbage dry and slice into thin ribbons.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat.
- Add half the cabbage and cook undisturbed for 2 minutes.
- Stir and cook for 2 more minutes until crispy.
- Add remaining cabbage and repeat the process.
- Pour in apple cider vinegar and honey while stirring.
- Add caraway seeds and toss well.
- Season with sea salt and black pepper.
- Transfer to a serving dish.
- Top with toasted sesame seeds.
- Serve warm immediately.
Notes
Use high heat and avoid overcrowding the pan to achieve crispy caramelized cabbage edges with the best texture.
