Instructions

- Cream for 1 to 2 minutes until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the remaining egg.
- Add the remaining 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
- Mix until smooth.
- Add 1/2 cup heat-treated flour.
- Fold gently until a soft cookie dough forms.
- Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Top each muffin cup of brownie batter with a generous spoonful of cookie dough.
- Spread gently to cover the brownie layer.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes.
- Check the brownie base with a toothpick.
- Remove from the oven when the toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool in the muffin tin for 5 minutes.
- Transfer to a wire rack.
- Cool completely before serving or storing.
