Ingredients
2 cans (15 oz each) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 teaspoons everything bagel seasoning (includes sesame seeds, poppy seeds, garlic salt, onion salt)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt (optional, depends on seasoning’s salt content)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C)
Pat chickpeas dry thoroughly with paper towels
Toss chickpeas with olive oil, everything bagel seasoning, garlic powder, and salt in a large bowl
Spread seasoned chickpeas on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer
Roast for 25 minutes, shaking the pan halfway for even browning
Cool completely before transferring to a serving bowl or container
Notes
Chickpeas must be completely dry before roasting, otherwise they will steam rather than crisp
For extra heat, add 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes with seasoning
Store in airtight container at room temperature for 5-7 days
Can be doubled and roasted on two baking sheets simultaneously
