Ingredients

1 pound ground beef (80/20)
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 medium cucumbers, sliced
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
1 lemon, juiced
1 tbsp olive oil
Fresh mint or parsley for garnish

Instructions

Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil
Mix ground beef, onion, garlic, herbs, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties
Cook patties 4-5 minutes per side until browned
Meanwhile, whisk yogurt with lemon juice, salt, and dill for sauce
Top cucumber slices with yogurt sauce
Place cooked kofta over prepared base
Garnish with fresh herbs

Use patty molds for even shape
Kofta can be pan-fried or grilled
