Ingredients
2 cups plain non-fat Greek yogurt
1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
6 cups low-fat vanilla yogurt (for layered texture, optional)
6 paper or silicone ice cube trays or small cups for freezing
Instructions
Chop the strawberries into small chunks.
In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, and cinnamon (if using). Mix thoroughly.
Fill each ice cube tray or small cup halfway with the yogurt mixture.
Add a few chopped strawberries into each portion.
If using low-fat vanilla yogurt for layering, add a second layer of vanilla yogurt on top of the strawberry mixture.
Place the trays or cups in the freezer.
Allow to freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
Notes
Store the frozen cups in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 3 weeks.
You can customize the sweetness by adjusting the amount of honey.
Optional toppings like chia seeds or chopped nuts can be added for extra crunch and fiber.
For a thicker texture, chill the yogurt mixture in the refrigerator for 1 hour before freezing.
