Ingredients
1 ½ lb lean ground turkey
¾ cup breadcrumbs
2 large eggs
¼ cup maple syrup
1 tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp ground nutmeg
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp fresh sage, chopped
1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a 24-hole muffin tin with paper liners.
Combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, eggs, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix until well combined.
Stir in sage and thyme. Let the mixture rest for 5 minutes to meld flavors.
Scoop 1–2 tablespoons of mixture into each muffin cup, mounding slightly.
Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until golden browned and a thermometer reads 165°F in the center. Brush tops with reserved maple syrup for a glaze.
Notes
Use fresh herbs for deeper flavor; dried herbs may require a ½-as-cited measurement.
Freeze unbaked bites in a single layer before transferring to a freezer bag for up to 2 months.
Serve warm with extra maple syrup or a dollop of Greek yogurt for texture.
