Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh mango puree
- 1 cup full-fat coconut milk
- 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 2–3 tablespoons honey or agave nectar, optional
Instructions
- Select ripe mangoes that yield slightly to gentle pressure and smell fragrant near the stem end.
- Cut the mangoes in half lengthwise around the pit and scoop the flesh into a blender.
- Blend the mango flesh until completely smooth and free of lumps.
- Strain the mango puree through a fine-mesh strainer, if desired, for an ultra-smooth texture.
- Measure two cups of smooth mango puree into a medium bowl.
- Add the full-fat coconut milk and fresh lime juice to the mango puree.
- Whisk thoroughly until the mixture is completely combined.
- Taste the mixture and add honey or agave nectar only if additional sweetness is needed.
- Whisk for thirty seconds to distribute all ingredients evenly.
- Pour the prepared mixture into Ninja Creami-compatible containers, filling only to the recommended maximum line.
- Place the filled containers on a level surface in the freezer.
- Freeze for at least eight hours or overnight until completely solid.
- Remove one frozen container from the freezer when ready to serve.
- Insert the frozen container into the Ninja Creami machine according to the manufacturer instructions.
- Select the sorbet setting and process until the mixture becomes smooth and spoonable.
- Serve immediately in chilled bowls or cups.
Notes
Choose ripe, fragrant mangoes for naturally sweet tropical flavor. Freeze the mixture completely solid before processing, and serve immediately after spinning for the smoothest, creamiest texture.
