Instructions

- Pour vegetable oil or melted coconut oil into the mug.
- Add Greek yogurt or applesauce.
- Add vanilla extract.
- Stir with a small spoon or fork until just combined.
- Add water gradually while stirring.
- Stop adding water when the batter resembles thick brownie batter.
- Fold chocolate chips into the batter with about 15 gentle stirs.
- Reserve a few chocolate chips for the top.
- Press the reserved chocolate chips onto the surface of the batter.
- Microwave on high power for 90 seconds.
- Check the top for doneness.
- Add 15-second intervals if needed until the top appears set but slightly moist in the center.
- Let the mug cool for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Eat directly from the mug or turn out onto a plate.
- Serve warm.
