Ingredients
1 lb beef sirloin strips
1 bunch asparagus
3 garlic cloves
1 tbsp grated ginger
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp water
1 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
Heat skillet with oil over high heat
Add beef strips, cook 2-3 minutes per side until browned
Push beef to sides, add garlic and ginger; sauté 1 minute
Add asparagus, cook 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender
In small bowl, mix soy sauce, cornstarch, and water until smooth
Pour sauce into skillet and cook 1-2 minutes until thickened
Notes
Use halal-certified beef if preferred
Substitute flaxseed oil for sesame oil if desired
Add a splash of rice vinegar for extra brightness
